TDI have been working closely with CRRC Nanjing Puzhen in China to develop the exterior front end and interior design, plus driver’s cabin, for the new metro system in Guiyang – capital of the mountainous Guizhou province in southwest China.
The first series production train for Line 1 was presented to Guiyang Urban Rail Transit at a public ceremony last week, and passenger service is scheduled to begin in June 2018. The local news media has assigned the nickname “Little Eye” to the new trains.
