WHO WE ARE
TDI are market leaders in the design and manufacture of lightweight, sustainable mass transit solutions. We are experts in Very Light Rail and Guided Light Transit systems, using the very latest in material and battery technology to deliver vehicles that are quicker, easier, and more cost-effective to deploy.
Our lightweight vehicles have lower power requirements to support the use of green technology solutions and cheaper infrastructure. At TDI our focus is on building whole system transport solutions that are both affordable and truly sustainable, offering zero-carbon functionality and a better future for everyone.

TDI Ltd established in Australia as a joint venture between Warwick Design and Design Resource in Sydney
2005
Alliance with AVE Rail Projects to provide turnkey design and supply of rail interiors and cabs direct to rolling stock builders
2009
TDI provides turnkey design and supply of ‘Minitrams’ and light urban transit vehicles
2011
TDI formalises technical partnership with Vectus Ltd to develop the next generation PRT technology
